Baukunst principal Mark Bucciarelli, AIA has over 25 years of traditional, architectural office experience. He has worked on a variety of building types for various SF Bay Area firms. Established in the year 2000, Baukunst is committed to providing comprehensive architectural services from programming through construction administration. Planning studies, feasibility / pro forma studies, interior design, and schematic landscape design, can also be performed. Through solid analysis and a budget conscious approach, the goal of any project is to functionally and aesthetically satisfy the owner's program by utilizing appropriate construction technologies. It is also our goal to produce accurate construction documents and specifications in a professional manner that meets the client's schedule and that are suitable for competitive bidding purposes. Additionally, Baukunst can offer cost effective, 3D presentations to help the owner to better visualize the design. This practice has become very adept at handling ongoing, "by others" projects that may have gone astray, code compliance cases, fire-damaged properties, seismic retrofits, adaptive re-use, "house flipping", legalizations, owner-driven conceptual designs, direct general contractor collaborations, and the like. From 2000 - 2011, Baukunst has been involved in over 200 projects and competitions of various building types, programs, and scales.
